Our Buddhist Spiritual Tour starts with the most sacred place: Bodhgaya- place of the Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha got enlightenment more than 2500 years ago. We shall also visit the room that He meditated as well as the hall constructed around the Bodhi Tree.
The 10 days Buddhist tour package then moves us to Rajgir where Buddha dwelled and taught for many years. As such, we will follow paths he once used, visit the forest cave he used for meditation. The next point of historical interest and importance to the course is Nalanda which used to be a global Buddhist University. We will visit well excavated ruins and reconstructions of monasteries and temples.
Next is Vaishali where Buddha took his last meal in this world; then is Kushinagar marking the last journey of Buddha. For the record it is also a throw that is believed to have been the place where the Buddha attained parinibbana- the final death or liberation. We are going to pay a visit to the Mahaparinirvana temple where a statute of 6 meters has been installed to represent the end of the Budd.
Our knowledgeable tour guides will introduce stories, teachings, and powerful history throughout this tour at every turn.
